This is the perfect easy operation knife to get if you want a quality fold out.
I tried 3 others in the Gerber range before asking them direct for recommendations and landing on this knife.
I can easily open and close this knife with one hand and it was like that after only a few initial uses out of the box.. unlike others I’ve had which took wearing in first.
After initially freeing the blade a bit, it is so easily opened you can give it a sharp flick of the wrist to get it out quick and easy!
The exposed release makes it super easy to close one handed too! Though it’s a bit awkward and slightly unsafe to attempt if you are left handed (I try to use both).

Blade is a decent length and the case as well to provide a decent size grip, along with the material feeling a bit anti slip, it feels nice in the hand. And it’s light as hell for the size!
Larger than the paraframe knives that were designed to be light too, but soo much lighter and safer feeling because of the solid sides…

Overall great function and form! And a great recommendation from the Gerber team who understood perfectly what I was after even from my slightly wine backed email enquiry!
